Abbey Farm Dressage
Abbey Farm is a delightful private venue, located near Bedford. It has outstanding facilities which are available for hire, and also runs a variety of events and training clinics throughout the year.
Abbey Farm also offers holiday liveries and short term competition liveries.
The Abbey Farm ethos is the promotion of a harmonious partnership between horse and rider, and the peaceful environment is conducive to this.
The yard is owner-managed by Annette Richter, who has a wealth of experience looking after horses, has competed successfully up to advanced level dressage and lives on site.
Our Facilities are available for hire and suitable for Olympic training. They include:
• 20 x 60 continental timber framed indoor arena with Martin Collins waxed surface,
excellent natural daylight and full lighting for evening events, clinics etc
• One fully mirrored wall
• Judges box and viewing gallery
• Full PA system for commentary and music
• 20 x 60 outdoor arena with Martin Collins surface for lunging, schooling, jumping and judges box
• Quiet accessible location
• Ample on-site parking for cars and lorries
• Overnight stables available
